Pool rules
- Shower before entering the pool.
- All non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.
- Children ages 4 and below must be accompanied in the water by an adult ages 18 or older at all times. Children 7 years and younger need to be accompanied by an adult at the pool’s edge.
- Obey the lifeguards. Safety is our number one priority.
- No running, pushing or horseplay.
- No food, drinks, gum or glass containers.
- Rafts, large flotation devices, hardballs, frisbees or water guns are not permitted.
- Flips or jack knife from the edge of the pool not permitted.
- Diving permitted in designated areas only, no running dives.
- Inner-tubes permitted in the Lazy River area only.
- Water toys may be used at the lifeguard's discretion.
- Avoid activity directly in front of the lifeguard chair.
- Masks, fins and snorkels permitted during lap swim and lessons only.
- Starting blocks are restricted to swim team use only.
- Use of lifejackets or floatation devices is not permitted in the competitive pool or on the slide.
- Swim test will be required for unrestricted pool use.
- Buoyancy belts and other devices are permitted for special needs, aerobics classes and therapy programs. Use subject to lifeguard approval.
- Patrons with communicable diseases or open eye wounds are not permitted in the water.
- Diapers not designed for water use are not permitted. Appropriate swim diapers required.
Lap swim Rules
- No diving permitted.
- Continuous swimming required.
- All lap swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards without stopping.
- Lane splitting is permitted with 2 swimmers in a lane.
- Counter clockwise swimming with 3 or more swimmers in a lane.
- If you must stop at the wall, keep the center of the wall clear for other swimmers to pass.
- Please be courteous of other swimmers using the lap lanes.
Diving board rules
- Only one person at a time is permitted on the diving board and ladder.
- Each person must wait until the preceding diver has cleared the area prior to diving.
- Only one bounce is permitted on the diving board except during instructional activity.
- Front dives and flips are allowed straight off the end of the board.
- Cartwheels and handstands are prohibited, except during instructional activity.
- Jumping off the diving board into the arms of another swimmer is not permitted.
- Swimming under the diving board is not permitted.
- Playing or swimming in the diving area is not permitted while boards are open.
- Hanging off the end of the diving board is not permitted.
- Goggles, masks or floatation devices may not be worn going off the board.
- Adjustments of the diving board fulcrum may only be made at the discretion of aquatic staff.
Waterslide rules
- Non-swimmers are not permitted to use the slide.
- Maximum Capacity: 1 person at a time. No more than 300 lbs.
- Children less than 48" tall are not permitted on the waterslide.
- No watches, jewelry, buckles, necklaces, earrings, zippers, cut-offs or metal objects
- Eyeglasses and goggles are not permitted.
- One rider in the flume at a time. No trains or chains of riders.
- Rider must wait for the attendants instructions and signal before starting
- All riders must ride feet first while lying on their back. Do not go down the slide head first.
- Do not stop, rotate, stand or kneel on the slide.
- Do not pull or propel yourself into the ride.
- Enter slide feet first in a lying or sitting position
- Keep arms and legs inside the flume at all times.
- No tubes or mats permitted
- After entering the plunge pool, exit immediately
- Do not block the waterslide.
- Plunge pool water depth 3 1/2 feet.
Lazy River Rules
- Non-swimmers are not permitted in the Lazy River.
- All swimmers must go in the direction of the current.
- Enter and exit the Lazy River from the stairs.
- No stopping or exiting from a float tube midway.
