Closures due to the Floor Drain Project including Family Changing Rooms:
The C. V. Starr Community Center will be undergoing facility improvements over the next couple of months. The Center is upgrading the floor drains in the family changing rooms and hallway entrance to the pool area. There will be no access to the pools through the hallway and no use of the two family changing rooms during this time. Patrons will have full access to the Men’s and Women’s locker rooms and may enter the pool area through them. There may be times that construction noise is heard throughout the Center. Please anticipate and prepare for non-use of the family changing rooms, hallway pool access and construction noise. The anticipated timeline for this project is May 1st through July 17th. On May 9th and 10th the Center will be closed to the public due to intense noise generated from the concrete slab demolition. The Center may close additional days at the discretion of the District Administrator during the construction period to ensure the safety and comfort of the public.
