Board of Directors Election – 2026
In the upcoming General Election on November 3, 2026, four Board of Directors seats will be up for election: three 4-year terms and one 2-year term.
Eligible candidates who wish to file for office may obtain official nominating petitions beginning Monday, July 13, 2026, and must file completed nomination documents with the Mendocino County Elections Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Candidate Qualifications
To run for an elected position on the Mendocino Coast Recreation & Park District Board of Directors, a candidate must:
- Be a United States citizen.
- Be at least 18 years of age on or before Election Day.
- Be a registered voter (elector) residing within the Mendocino Coast Recreation & Park District.
