Get ready for an electrifying showdown at our Home Run Derby! Here's everything you need to know about how the action unfolds:

🔥 Gameplay Overview

  • Choose Your Pitcher: Batters may select their own pitcher. Pitches are delivered from a shorter distance than regulation and typically from behind a protective screen.
  • Pitch Requirements: Each pitch must arc between 6 and 12 feet high to be considered valid.

⚾ Round 1: Hit for Time

  • 2 Minutes on the Clock: Each batter gets 2 minutes to hit as many home runs as possible.
  • Scoring: Only fair balls that clear the outfield fence count as home runs.
  • Tiebreakers: Ties go to a 3-swing swing-off. Still tied? It’s decided by a coin toss.

🔁 Round 2: 10-Pitch Challenge

  • Top 5 Batters Advance: Each finalist gets 10 pitches only.
  • Goal: Hit the most home runs out of 10 pitches to advance.

👑 Finals: The Crown is On the Line

  • Top 2 Players Face Off
  • 5 Pitches Only
  • The batter with the most home runs is crowned KING of the Derby!
