Summer Theatre Camp in Point Arena – “Ahoy, Point Arena (A Pirate Story)”

Set sail on a whimsical pirate adventure off the Mendocino Coast! This creative theatre camp invites young performers to explore storytelling, teamwork, and imagination while bringing an original play to life.

Written by Kylie Felicich, Ahoy, Point Arena connects local culture with fun theatrical expression. Participants will learn the basics of acting, stage presence, props, improv, singing and performance as they prepare for a live show at the historic Arena Theater.

  • Location: Arena Theater, Point Arena
  • Ages: 8 and up
  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Performance: Friday, July 24 at 2:00 PM
  • Cost: $150 per participant
  • Scholarships are available through Friends of MCRPD - Application HERE
  • Space is limited to 12 performers  - REGISTER HERE

Students will build confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills while experiencing the excitement of performing on stage.
