LIFEGUARD CLASS
Monday - Friday, June 12 -June 16 9:00am-5:00pm
If you are 15 or over and looking for a great job, American Red Cross Lifeguard Training is the place to start! Learn all the skills needed to work at the C.V. Starr Community Center.
There is NO FEE for those who will be employed by the C.V. Starr Community Center. All other participants will be charged $175.
Prerequisite: Swim 300 yards continuously; tread water for 2 minutes using legs only and a timed swim test. If a swimmer cannot meet these requirements, they will not be allowed to take the course.
When you register, pick up the class syllabus, it will give you the link to the online portion of the class. You must register at least 3 days before the start of the class.
Bring your Swim Suit, towel, pocket mask, manual, and the printed out confirmation that you have completed the online portion of the class.
